I know you get what you get from supplier but this is the lightest color and softest herman oak I have ever seen, had a bit of a challenge as it did not take the herman oak color once some oil was applied but making it work.

You get what you pay for and this is a bargain. The side I ordered was pretty good shape for straps and that. The bend had some scars and bug bites, but it’s still HO quality. Good shoulder for practicing carving. I’ll buy this again for the use it provides. If you need the best quality than buy a pricier side, pretty simple. It’s a great deal IMO.

Customer service was awesome. I chose the wrong leather for my project and they were quick to help me make an adjustment…I chose to keep the leather and make it work.
Next order I will know better how to communicate my needs.
You guys are very responsive and I’m glad To work with you.
