Description
Assorted scrap leather that comes in a one pound bag. Colors range from mostly in the earth tones, but black, red, blue and some other colors are possible. Cut from various types of leather, usually about 4-5 ounces (1/16″ thick). Usually contains 2-4 pieces per pound, enough for many small projects!

Is this leather scrap veg tan?
Hi Bethany, these scraps are not veg tan, they are a soft chrome tan.

Some leather is thicker than I wanted and the colors aren’t exciting but for the price…. Shipping price was more than I wanted as I am in no rush but…. I wanted thinner, blue and small. I wish i could sort leathers by thickness, color and size. Too much drilling down on unfamiliar genres is off putting and impossible to locate what I want. Thanks

It’s good quality, it’s not my favourite looking but that’s personal preferences. Knowing that it is scrap we knew it wasn’t going to be cut perfectly, we did manage to make a little clutch bag for our neighbours daughter Nova(named after the chevy) and although not finished yet, it is turning out awesome and was definitely the right material for the job.

I have ordered two of these at separate times. While the leather was beautiful, a couple of the pieces were truly “scrap” and not usable. Otherwise great stuff with a nice variation in the thicknesses for multiple projects. Very good quality/quantity for the price.
