What is Skidmore’s Beeswax Waterproofing?

Skidmore’s Waterproofing goes one step further than its Leather Cream in terms of protection. Almost pure beeswax, it is great for leather that really gets wet. The beeswax waterproofing goes on smoothly, penetrates the leather, and leaves a waterproof seal on the surface. Use the Waterproofing for boots, shoes, and other leather gear that will be exposed to lots of wetness. Great as a topcoat. Contains no animal products, silicones or driers. Comes in a 6-ounce container.

Application Instructions

Rub into leather, let sit for several hours or overnight, then rub again. Under wet, abrasive conditions reapply frequently.

We recommend using Skidmore’s Leather Cream for everyday care and protection, and the Skidmore’s Beeswax Waterproofing can be applied afterwards for really wet conditions.
