Why do the hide measurements have three dimensions? For example, the website says the hide is 42” x 7” x 7”. What is the second 7 referring to? Obviously not thickness. Jewel Morris asked on January 23, 2024

Hey Jewel! Very good question, those dimensions reference shipping dimensions only. It's something we need to clean up on the website to make it more clear.

This may seem like an odd question, but how “oily” is this Sillero Amber Oil Tan Leather? In my limited experience I have loved and hated oil tans. One I loved the feel smell and all. the other was so saturated I couldn’t leave it laying out without leaving greasy looking stains on everything. Jonathan asked on November 17, 2023

Hey Jonathan! I know, over-saturated oil tans can be off putting. The sillero amber is not one of those leathers though, it has a really pleasing oily touch to it.
