    can’t argue with the price, they do the job but they don’t have the same feel as higher quality saddle strings. the tan of the leather didn’t feel very dense and they stretched quite thin when i ran them through my saddle. they look the part, they will serve their purpose & my budget was happy, just when the time comes to replace them down the road I will probably splurge on higher quality latigo leather. good bargain though!!

Is there a cost difference if the strings needed are cut from Indian-tanned latigo? Dale McCormick asked on May 25, 2024

Hey Dale, the indian tan saddle strings are priced the same, however they aren't on the website yet. So you'd have to call or email us with an order.

Hello Dan! The weight of our saddle strings is 6-7 ounce (3/32" or so).
