What is Military Crazy Horse Leather?
A military green pull up leather for making leather goods with a rugged appeal. With a medium temper stiffness, this leather will function well for bags, wallets, cases, covers and more.
These crazy horse leather sides come straight from the tannery, so the distressed, pull up look will not necessarily be present when we send the leather to you. The rugged look appears after bending and using the leather. In other words, the more the leather is used and beaten, the better it looks.
Available in cut pieces of 12″x24″ and 24″x24″.

How can I buy a specific size piece of leather? 56"x 19"

Hey Greg! We can do that for you, just give us a call. Although you should know that we charge more per square foot for a cut piece, and with a piece that big, you are going to be close to the cost of a full side anyway.

The picture does not do it justice. The color is a saturated dark pine green that in the right light it takes on a slight emerald green hue. Great pull up effect. Good weight.

I was hesitant to purchase because the green didn’t look that appealing, but I’m glad I took the chance.
I am not an experienced leather crafter, but I like to make journal covers and this leather is a great thickness for that purpose and I have fallen in love with the colour.
It arrived with some big scratches, but they disappeared when I rubbed them with Saphir Renovateur cream.
I am including a photo just so people can see what the colour really looks like.
