Shipping Policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this policy. Any changes to this policy will be posted for your convenience.

Free shipping: This offer only applies after the $150 threshold is reached in merchandise, or when certain items are on sale. Free shipping is also only available online, not via phone or email. Items not eligible for free shipping include, but are not limited to: full hide rawhide, gallons of cement, and upholstery hides. We also do not offer free shipping outside the contiguous US (the lower 48 states).

Shipping Options and Cost: We ship via four different shipping partners: USPS, FedEx, DHL and UPS. At checkout for online orders, the default option is Flat Rate, which is calculated based on the value of your cart and your region. To preview shipping charges, our online shopping cart will calculate the shipping costs for you.

For orders over 3 pounds, we will usually ship via UPS, and we will usually ship USPS for orders under 3 pounds. For alternate or special shipping requests, please call us toll free Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (MST), email us at [email protected], or include a note to your order at checkout.

Orders will ship out Monday through Friday at around 4:30pm (MST). Please note, we do not ship on Saturday or Sunday. We try our best to process orders within 1-2 business days, but variances do occur, including but not limited to holidays, weekends, and volume of orders.

Partial Shipments: At Montana Leather Company, our service goal is to fulfill your order promptly and keep you posted as to the status of your order. On any out-of-stock issues, you will be contacted with the anticipated ship date. Additionally, any backordered items will ship for free, so you never pay for shipping more than once.

International Customers: International orders can also be shipped via UPS, USPS, FedEx or DHL. Our website will try to calculate a flat rate similar to the method above, but can be inaccurate on occasion. However for a more accurate estimate, please contact us directly so that we can get you a custom quote.

International customers will be responsible for duties & taxes based on your individual country. And for Canadian customers, note that ground brokerage is not included.
