How thick I need 1 1/4"
Hey Barron! These heels are about 1/4" thick. We do not have any heels that reach 1 1/4" thick.

I have been using a 3/4 inch vibram heel on my red wing boots. I have been switching my shoes to zero heel. I finally called Montano and ordered a heel a bit thicker than the Vibram 5722. It was on back order. I waited a month and called back. The service rep suggested this 5722 heel which is thinner (closem to 1/4 inch) than what I initially ordered. It was available and I ordered it.
The soles of my boots are old and not as flat as this heel. I had to put nails in to get it flat enough to get good glue contact.
It has worked well. I am sure the next time I can get it done much more neatly. The low heel has worked very well and has reduced my foot and leg muscle cramping signifigantly.
The thinner heels are not on the website so a call is necvessary.
