Our Big Sky bison leather in a light brown color with dark undertones. With a waxy composition, this leather has a wonderful pull-up effect. As you pull and use the leather, the darker tones give way to the lighter tones. At 4-6 ounces thick (1/16″-3/32″), this leather is ideal for bags, wallets, totes, bookbinding, and more.

What products should I use to make my side of Big Sky bison leather not look so ashy? Is there a way to polish this leather? Stephen Sneeringer asked on March 10, 2023

Hey Stephen! You can definitely do a little buffing with these sides, as there is a layer of tallow on these leathers. Just take a dry cloth or sponge to it.
