When purchased the leather is quite dark, but as you can see the due movement creates an excellent effect. The finish is also good, while not impervious to scratching, it’s certainly better than most. As a stiffer leather it punches and sews well. Only issue I see is the limited color selection.

Love this leather for bags. The pull up on this just makes it look cooler over time and the medium firm temper makes it a dream to cut. The stitch holes also remain open after punching so stitching is easier. This particular side was pretty large, so quality, color, and quantity were all 5 star. As for Mt Leather as a company, they sell great leather at fair prices and have always been really easy to work with. I live 3 hours away and have to rely on online descriptions and great customer service when I order, and they are 1 of only 3 places that always ship the best stuff and never try to take advantage of an online shopper by sending lower quality stuff they can’t sell in store
