Due to what looks like a brand and a cut made to the box which transferred to the skin and some other flaws I was only able to get two heads cut instead of three. I do understand as a natural product this can be part of the game

Usually a gamble for what I’m trying to make and unfortunately a small loss this time around.. good hides but not always what id hoped for. But sometimes they send a great hide.

This is great stuff, perfect for my first attempt at making traditional 13th century Japanese samurai armor (O-Yoroi) from rawhide! I have 400 scales (kozane) done so far, with only 600-700 to go (ha ha). This rawhide side was a bit higher price than my previous supplier had (Tandy out of El Paso), but it’s actually thicker than theirs (which really matters), and with your free shipping it’s the same overall price in the end! I’m looking forward to buying at least 2 more sides to finish the project. Hopefully I can bring it in to show you when I attend the upcoming Billings Ren Faire (June 6th)!
