Leather Thickness Gauge – 300 mm

Description

A general use leather thickness gauge manufactured by Calati in Italy. Measures in both ounces (up to 25 ounces) and millimeters (up to 10 mm). Get readings up to 300 millimeters in depth from the edge of the leather.

When it comes to getting leather thickness measurements, you want to aim for the back/butt area of the leather if possible. The belly and areas of the neck will have more inconsistencies, so you should generally try to avoid measurements there. Lastly, take multiple measurements from different locations for the best read!
