What is Fiebing’s Tan Kote?
Fiebing’s Tan Kote is a light top finish for leather goods. Often used to thin Fiebing’s Antique Finish. Note that Tan Kote does not provide water proofing or conditioning like other finishes, as this may be important. For water resistance, get Fiebing’s Resolene.
How do I use it?
Apply Tan Kote to leather evenly with a dauber, brush or spray. Do not use on suede leather.

Will Tan Kote seal in a dye that is applied with airbrush?
Hey Dave, yes tan kote will seal your dye in the leather. Please note that it is a semi-permeable finish and is not waterproof, while resolene is. Hope this helps!
