Black deerskin leather made from wild deer. Excellent for making moccasins, clothing, traditional Native American items and more. Tanned right here in the US. It is possible for some pieces to have marks or holes, but will largely be very clean.

what tannage - chrome or veg? thanks
Hey Jim, these deerskin hides are chrome tanned. In fact, almost all of our leather, except for the section dedicated specifically to veg tan leathers, is chrome tanned.

Would this piece be large enough for a pair of equestrian chaps?
Hey Patty! If you got two, then you'd most likely have enough for a pair of chaps. If you just got one though, definitely not.
